As I understood it is okay if the size differs from one ear to another, because that happened to me. When I found the right size I felt that I became totally undisturbed. "I started with the Loop Quiet 2 earplugs and now I bought the Loop Dream earplugs. The Loop Dream earplugs are more comfortable and a bit more noise cancelling so I am sleeping even better now. "Very efficient to get a more quiet sleep environment! A bit tricky to insert before you get the hang of it, and a need to try different sizes to get a good fit. More comfortable than ordinary foam ear plugs, but after a whole night the ear is a bit sore after all. For someone needing ear plugs often, they are still worth the price. In short: Very good but not perfect, requires a bit of patience but delivers what is promised."

I can barely hear my little daughter talking right next to me, but I can hear my husband perfectly clearly when he's on the phone in the next room. That's quite distracting. Sizes can vary from one ear to the other, and for some reason my left and right ears didn’t need the same size. Once I found the right fit for each ear, the difference was huge.
