There’s one drawback: in Engage mode, the sound is muffled too much, so it can be hard to hear the person speaking to you. Because of that, the classic model actually handles this better. I have used the pink ones in the photo nearly everywhere and they have made life a lot easier. I got these new ones hoping to have a good back-up pair, and perhaps even improving on the old one as this one is supposed to have 3 modes. I have used the same XS tips, and the new model / style seems to have a very similar design, yet they can't get a good fit in my ear. I also tried the other tips, but they are too big for my ears. These earplugs are uncomfortable, and I can't get a good seal either, thus the different modes are useless. I've followed the instructions, read the manual, but somehow it's not a match for me.
